How can the Media help my business?

<p><span style=How can the Media help my business?

The media provides a great medium on which to promote your business.

It allows you to give more detail about who you are and the projects you are currently involved in. Raising you business profile and building value.

For example if your business has just been awarded a big contract that will  create 5 news jobs, you can write a press release - detailing how you got the contract and what it means for your local economy.

Circulate it to the regional press such as the local BBC radio and television station and the business section of your regional news paper - giving details of how to contact you for interview and depending on the news on the day - one or all of them will run the story.

You may be invited for interview or the journalist or producer may simply use the information you've provided in the press release to write some copy for their news headlines, either way its great publicity for your business.
